Malvasie 2012

MALVASIE 2012 Label

MALVASIE 2012
Russian River Valley
100% Malvasia Bianca
Saralee’s Vineyard

After destemming, the grapes were fermented in neutral barrel on the skins at low temperature for 3 weeks. At the end of fermentation, the wine has been drawn off without pressing the skins, to retain the essence of the grape.

“The 2012 Malvasie is laced with expressive varietal notes. White peaches, lychee, mint and jasmine lift from the glass in an effortless, gracious wine endowed with gorgeous overall balance. Next to the Arbe Garbe, the Malvasie is lighter in body and more feminine in style. This mixes the soapstone and peach blossom aspects of Malvasia with a distinct, exotic creaminess and a mandarin orange aspect. Spring flourishes with basso profundo flavors, a great California choice.”
