Russian River’s Tanya’s Vineyard is home to one of the still rare patches of Ribolla Gialla in the New World. In his Certified Sustainable vineyard, viticulturist Chris Bowland is doing an admirable work with non-mainstream white grapes and environmentally responsible agricultural techniques.
The region’s climate again works its magic by keeping things cool late in the growing season. Our ways around wine-making surely keep our wonderful growers on their toes, as the weeks go by and our grapes are the only ones still hanging from the vines. But good things come to those who wait, therefore we are very grateful for Chris’ polite patience and flexibility with us every year. Our wines owe much to such expertise and masterful agricultural background.
